Effective Organizations & Study Skills:
1. Record homework and assignments in your agenda as they appear on the board or in Google Classroom.
2. Keep all papers neat and organized in your binders.
3. Be sure you have all the materials you will need for the night BEFORE leaving the classroom.
4. As you complete each homework assignment, highlight/cross it off it in your agenda.
5. Spend a little bit of time each night reviewing what you learned in class.
6. Charge your Chromebook at home.

Science Grading Percentages:
Tests and Quizzes = 40%
Homework = 25%
Labs and Projects = 25%
Classwork = 10%
E Science:
Tests and Quizzes = 50%
Homework = 20%
Labs and Projects = 20%
Classwork = 10%
Homework:
1. Homework will be assigned and should take between 10-20 minutes.
2. Homework will be checked. Some assignments may be randomly collected and graded as a "graded assignment."
Students will be assigned 2, 1, or 0 points.
2 points = all work is complete and done thoroughly
1 point = done completely with minimal effort, partially done, or late
0 points = not done
A note about PowerSchool:
1. Power School will be updated weekly.
2. Grades will often shift dramatically as new assignments are entered, especially early in the semester when there are relatively few grades. Please login often.
