Welcome to the 4th Grade!
Welcome to a brand-new school year! I am so excited to begin this fourth-grade adventure with you.
This year, we will explore new ideas, take on new challenges, and share new experiences together. Our classroom will be a community where everyone belongs—a place where we learn from one another, support each other, and celebrate each other’s successes.
Throughout the year, I hope you will ask questions, try new things, make mistakes, discover your strengths, and be proud of how much you grow. Most importantly, I hope our classroom becomes a place where you feel comfortable being yourself and excited to learn.
I can’t wait to get to know each of you and see all that we accomplish together!

Eisenhower School's Suggested School Supply List - Grade 4
4th Grade students can prepare the suggested supplies below for use throughout their classes.
Your child’s teacher(s) may suggest specific additional supplies at the start of the year which will
be used to assist with the organization of all classroom materials. Support with school supplies will
be available if needed.
● 1 soft pencil case/pouch (no hard boxes please)
● 1 plastic (durable) two-pocket homework folder
● 1 marble composition notebook
● 1 box of 24-count crayons or colored pencils
● 1 box of 12 sharpened pencils
● 1 handheld sharpener
● 2 highlighters
● 2 colored pens (not black)
● Wired earbuds or small headphones (not bluetooth)
Additional Suggested Supplies for Math/Science Class
- a 1.5 inch "presentation style" binder (with the clear front and back outer sleeves)
- an additional plastic (durable) two-pocket folder for math/science
- a sweatshirt or light jacket to keep in your locker (my room is air conditioned)
