Welcome back! It's a new school year, and Mrs. Watson's "Super Heroes" are soaring to higher heights in room 204! There will be an abundance of learning during trimester 1. In
E. L. A. (English Language Arts), we will focus on reading grade level texts, summarizing texts, identifying the main idea, supporting details, theme, and the author's point of view. In addition, we will work diligently to write various types of writings, including a catchy opening, vivid details, and an exciting ending. In Math, we will gain a better understanding of the place value system. Next, matter and the structures of matter will be the focus in Science. Lastly, we will learn about early civilization in Social Studies.Please encourage your child to practice some of the aforementioned skills during their pastime by clicking on one of the familiar links on the left column.
