Hello! Welcome Back To School!!! It is going to be a great year! I am Mrs. Torreblanco, your child's First Grade teacher. This is my 18th year at North Main Street School but my 22nd year teaching in Pleasantville. I love it!
To help our classroom run smoothly, please read the following guidelines.
Class Dojo- Please sign up for Class Dojo. I will be sending messages home on a daily basis.
Forms – The first week of school usually means filling out many forms. Sometimes the forms ask for the same information. Please fill out every form because they may be going to different offices.
Child’s Name – Please put your child’s name on anything that comes to school (book bag, coat, folders, etc…).
Book Bag – Please send it in each day with your child and check inside daily.
Homework Folder – Please review the contents of your child’s folder every night and return it to school every day.
Toys – Please keep them at home.
Money – If you are sending money to school, please place it in an envelope with your child’s name, amount, and purpose.
Uniform – Please dress your child in the appropriate school uniform every day. No other clothing is to be worn except on gym day, which is gray sweatpants, tee shirt, and sneakers.
Pick-up – Be sure to sign the teacher’s sign-out sheet before taking your child at the end of the day. Please pick your child up at 3:00pm on a full day and at 1:30pm on an early dismissal day.
