7th Grade Math

Welcome to 7th Grade math. During the 2nd marking period, we will be solving problems involving percent and then moving into the Algebra portion of the 7th grade curriculum. We will be evaluating and simplifying algebraic expressions and then solving one and two-step equations.
It is very important that you bring your Chromebook to math class on a daily basis. We will be using math programs during class. These programs consist of i-Ready, IXL, EdPuzzle, ALEKS, Nearpod, and Exemplars. Most of these programs require the use of a Chromebook. Assignments in 7th grade math will be sent out in the Google Classroom or will be completed on the websites listed above.
Homework will be assigned on a weekly basis. All homework assignments will be either listed on or linked to the Google Classroom and can be completed there. Two lessons in your i-Ready learning pathway should be completed each week. Ideally, you should be spending at least 45 minutes per week in you i-Ready learning pathway.
