I look forward to seeing you all at our back to school night event on Wednesday, September 19, 2018.
Class Procedures:
Please arrive on time each day. If you would like your child to participate in the breakfast program, they must be here before 8:15 so that he/she will have time to eat.
Please pick your child promptly at 2:50 each day.
Please return your child's communication folder each day.The folder will be used for sending and returning homework each day. It will also be used for important forms and notices.
Math tested skills:
*count by 1's to 30
*count by 10's to 50
*solve addition problems using addition stories (word problems)
*solve subtraction problems using subtraction stories (word problems)
*identify and describe shapes
Language arts:
*identify the letters of the alphabet and the sound of each letter
*blend letter sounds together to read words
*identify rhyming words
*read and write the sight words that will be sent home each week including ; I, like, the, and, see, we, a, to, no, yes, come
*practice writing simple sentences that start with a capital, end with a punctuation mark and have spaces between words
