ADRIANNA, ASHTON, DANIEL, EITHAN, GENESIS, KENJUAN, LAYLA, SAMUEL, TRISTAN and VALENTINA - finally received their new Pleasantville Library membership cards mailed on Monday, February 10!!!!!!!!!!
And we lived happily ever after... or did we? We completed 2 schoolwork packets, celebrated 4 birthdays - EITHAN, TRISTAN, ADRIANNA, YALESLY - listened to Ms Monica's Circle Time, watched Mrs Brock read to us on Class Dojo; performed 2 Science experiments - pepper, soap, water and walking water - crafted w/ Mr. Neel; enjoyed ACFPL Story Time, PBS Kids Read Along w/ Michele Obama, Mis Glam Reads, Spanish children's stories, FUNDATIONS Letter Sounds videos and countless other books/stories; Mrs Jackson mailed stickers, a butterfly puzzle, a book, bear counting cards, Emotions Match game plus a "Flat Mrs. Jackson"; also I utilized Master Teacher Elwell's themes of FARM, INSECTS, PIRATES, ZOO! However, my main objective was that all of my 15 students be able to write their name - I succeeded and met my objective because 10 can write their first name, 4 can write their full name - DANIEL, LAYLA, SAMUEL, TRISTAN - and CESC can identify/recognize his name!! TRISTAN won PreK Lynx Loot and received a Red Box video!!! Then time for Graduation: a giftbag filled w/ Chick-Fil-A, Dairy Queen or Rita's, 5 Below gift cards, coloring pages, shapes clip-on game, bag of gummies, sunglasses, storybook, Graduation Certificate plus an awesome photo album for our parents!!!! This was a bittersweet moment for me because we had originally planned a Grand Graduation but instead we had a GROOVY GRADUATION and as Pete the Cat says - "It's all good"!!!!!
