Buddy reading

• The purpose of buddy reading is that this is a self-regulated activity where students will learn to look at books discussing with their partner what they see the characters doing on the pages of the story. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

   Pairs of children "read" books to one another, using the mediator cards like the lip and ear to remind them of their roles as they take turns speaking and listening.
