I started at leeds Avenue School as a paraprofessional in 2002-2006. I started my career as a Pre-k teacher in 2007-present. I am dual certified in regular education as well as in special education from Pre-K to 3rd grade. I taught Pre-K regular education at North Main Street School for two years and my current position is an Pre-K Inclusion teacher. This is my twelth year as an inclusion teacher and I love what I do. There are total of 15 students in the classroom, including 8 special needs students with IEP's. These students are currently receiving speech services twice a week inside of school. Moreover, breakfast and lunch are provided for pre-k students in the classroom. One will find, as they walk into room 114, a safe, secure, child-to-child and teacher/child friendly atmosphere. It's a child like environment with children's work hung up at their eye-level where they are able to view their accomplishments.
