Math in the early years is an exciting and fun gateway to learning. We are busy in grades 1-3 learning a variety of ways to work with numbers and exploring what is called number sense or the ways that numbers interact with each other. Our young students are just beginning to find out all that numbers can help them accomplish. They are building a lifelong relationship with numbers. seeing how to put numbers together, to take them apart, and to connect them with one another is just the tip of all that they will experience in these building years. It is a wonderful jouney that is the foundation to build upon throughout their lives!
