My name is Hope Stevens and at school they call me Mrs. Hope. I live in Breaux Bridge with my husband, our two boys , and dog Heath. I graduated from LSU-Baton Rouge in Agricultural Business and UL-Lafayette in Early Childhood Education.  

This will be my 15th year teaching. I have had the opportunity to teach PreK, Kindergarten and 1st grade here at Cecilia Primary,  and also 1st grade at St. Ignatius in Grand Coteau. 

 I love teaching 1st grade and I am very passionate about teaching children  how to read AND how to develop a LOVE for reading!  

When we model a love for reading they will develop that love also!!!
