Dear Students and Families,

 

I'm so glad you are in my class this year!  

 

I hope you have all had a great summer.   Hopefully everyone is feeling recharged and ready to get back to work.   What did you do this summer?  I can't wait to meet you and hear all about your adventures, even if they were in your own backyard!

 

For the first day of school, each child is being asked to bring in one item that represents something that they did over their vacation.  It could be a book that they read, a shell from the beach, a trophy, a stuffed animal, souvenir etc.  We will use these items to get to know each other better :) 

 

As far as supplies for this year, you will need to bring headphones or earbuds, a hand-held pencil sharpener with shavings container and a pair of scissors.  Please be sure to have your items labeled with your name.  

 

If there is anything else that you would like to use at school such as post-its, mechanical pencils or special supplies for drawing, you can feel free to bring them in.  Also, please be sure to bring a snack and water bottle for the first day as well.
