Hello and welcome to our Sixth Grade Science and Social Studies homepage!
Welcome to the 2025-2026 academic school year at Shelling Elementary! Students in my classes will have access to a variety of resources designed to strengthen their understanding of the amazing world in which we live. We will use Google Classroom to supplement the curriculum and content found within their lessons and modules. This insures each and every student stays on track and is more than prepared for academic success!
This year we are using the Amplify Science courseware and are extremely excited to introduce the Gallopade Social Studies software as well. Information regarding other important resources, updates and events will be provided as they become available!

The best times to contact me are Mon., Wed., Thur., and Fri. from 9:20-9:50. Additionally, all Monroe City Schools and Central Office buildings institute the office hours of 8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. In order to schedule a parent/teacher conference, please be aware that our school policy dictates that all coferences must take place between 7:30 - 7:50 a.m. (as to not interfere with instructional time) and should be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance.
