Program Description
Students will be encouraged to explore and investigate art through creative and artistic expression.
Students will learn to use various media, techniques, and tools to express ideas, observations, feelings, and imagination through the understanding and creative use of the elements and principles of design (line, shape, form, color, pattern, texture, space, emphasis, repetition, variety/contrast, and rhythm/movement).
Through visual art experiences, students develop visual awareness and the ability to be creative thinkers and independent learners.
