Welcome back to the 2024-2025 school year, I want to welcome everyone to my home page for my self-contained Mathematics classroom. My name is Jason Armas and it is truly a pleasure to be working with all of you this year! This is my fourteenth year teaching at the West New York Middle School, but my sixth year in a self-contained Mathematics setting. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from New Jersey City University and a Masters in Urban Education with a specialization in Administration and Supervision. I am looking forward to a great school year filled with fun and exciting ways for my students to learn new things! I will be your child’s teacher for their seventh-grade Math class. I am ecstatic and looking forward to a busy and exhilarating school year. I am delighted to have your child in my class in person this school year. This year will be fun and exciting as well as challenging and productive for your child, but I am here for support. I have high expectations for your child and will be doing all that I can to help your child achieve those expectations.
