Hi, fellow Hornets! Welcome to Middle School North. Middle school is an
exciting time and I just know you're going to love it! Of course, your
favorite class will be mine, Social Studies. Some of you may think old dead
guys are boring, but I promise you they're not. We stand on the shoulders of
those who came before us! Get ready to study some geography and explore many
different ancient civilizations like those of the Mesopotamians, Chinese, Greeks,
Romans, and more.

I graduated from Freehold Township High School and then went on to
Southeastern University to earn my degree in Education. If I seem familiar
to you, it might be because I taught 3rd and 5th grade at Land O'Pines before
becoming Highly Qualified in Language Arts and Social Studies and moving to
MSN. I love what I do and am ecstatic about specializing in Social Studies!

I am really into technology and photography. I look forward to combining
those two interests in my classroom and sharing with you. Also, how exciting
is it to get your own Macbook? Very! We're going to make as much use of it as
possible and learn together how to build amazing things that help us
understand and explain history to others. I can't wait to meet you and travel
back in time together. Make the best of it, for you are writing your own
history every day!
