Educational Philosophy
I believe in providing students with opportunities to develop basic skills and acquire knowledge necessary to develop a positive self image.
Educational Goals
* to help students acquire basic knowledge necessary to understand their environment and also prepare them for their future environment.
* to provide students with the opportunity to learn, develop, and practice interpersonal skills needed to be productive citizens.
DISCIPLINE PHILOSOPHY
I believe in being firm and fair. Rules will be enforced and consequences will be consistent.
Classroom Rules:
1. Raise hand and wait to be called on before speaking.
2. Be respectful of other's property
3. Ask for permission before getting out of seat
4. Have all materials for class
5. Be polite to teacher and peers
6. Follow classrooms procedures
Classroom Procedures:
1. Only one person at a time allowed at the pencil sharpener at a time.
2. Only (2) students at a time can get books from the class library.
3. Always get a hall pass before leaving the room.
4. Always one row at a time.
Consequences
1st offense: Warning
2nd offense: Loss of recess/snack time
3rd offense: Conference with parents
4th offense: Office visit
