Dear Parents/Guardians,  

 

   Welcome to first grade!  We hope everyone is having a wonderful summer and is as ready as we are to start the new school year. We are so excited to work with you and your child this year.  It is our mission to instill a love of learning in our students so they can become lifelong learners.  As we develop a community of learning based on respect, responsibility, and cooperation, we will provide opportunities for students to achieve academically and socially.  It's going to be a year full of fun, lots of learning and adventures, and we can't wait to see what the year has in store for us!

 

    We know many parents and children enjoy “Back-to-School” shopping for school supplies. We will have everything your child needs in our room, but if you would like to provide some extra support, here is a list of important items that we use daily in first grade. 

 

 

  • Personal headset with microphone

  • Personal Pencil Box

  • 24 Pack of Pencils 

  • Elmer's Glue Sticks 

  • Crayola Crayons

  • erasers

  • Post-it brand sticky notes

  • EXPO markers (low odor) 

  • Ziplock bags (assorted sizes)
