Welcome to my site! As an Adapted PE Teacher I work with students to increase learning through movement. Not only am I working on the physical aspect of development, but the overall cognitive development. I hope you all have fun learning to move through movements. What is GUMBO?
www.gumbogames.com GUMBO is an athletic opportunity for kids with physical and visual impairments. The events offered are in the area of track and field ages 6 and up. Your child would prepare for the events during his or her APE time. For more information check out the web site above or send me an email. * GUMBO is gearing up for their events. You can go online to register your child but know the first two events have been cancelled. GUMBO has opened this opportunity to students with hearing impairments as well.
What is Challengers?
This is softball for students with specail needs. Kids are paired with a buddy to play in the outfield. Everyone gets a chance to bat and run. There is no cost and uniforms are provided free of charge. Applications are now (March) on line through Walker Ball Parks under documnets.
