Week 6 Assignment: Due May 13, 2020

Write a 5-7 sentence story Correctly Using AT LEAST 2 commas explaining one specific event that has happened in your life during this time of quarantine while school has been canceled. Final Assignment or Course Conclusion: Due May 18, 2020

Write a 20 sentence narrative (story like a journal entry) taking your reader step-by-step through your “CoronaVirus Experience.” Start with the moment you found out school would be canceled, and end with the moment you started writing this narrative. If your daily life has been uneventful, you may write about the feelings of boredom, the feelings of not knowing what to expect, or the feelings of going to a store and seeing people with masks on. If you miss school or friends, write about that feeling and how you would like to spend this time differently. If you have enjoyed this break from the school, work, etc. tell about it and how much you need this break.

Announcements

We are required to provide our students with 3 more assignments and a final or "course conclusion" assignment. These assignments are meant to keep everything you learned "fresh" in your mind in preparation for the next school year. They are not meant to "hurt" your grade.

You have probably noticed that grades for these assignments have not been entered into power school. This is because we are not allowed to penalize students for not doing the assignments, because so many do not have the technological capabilities to complete them. However, there are parents and students who have been concerned about their children "falling behind." These assignments are meant to address those concerns.

If any of you have any questions, please let me know. I may not have the answers, because I will try to help you.

Much love to all of you,

Mrs. Freeman
