Welcome to the new school year!
I know it is going to be a fantastic year. Now that you are in fourth grade, you are the leaders of Milltown School! This is your year to shine and to set an example for all. As leaders, you will get some special privileges as well as some important responsibilities. I know you are up for it, and I can't wait to tell you more once school begins!
I am so glad you are in my class, and I want to know more about you! Have you been enjoying your summer vacation? Did you spend time swimming at the beach, visiting family, reading or playing outside? On the first day of school, please bring in a picture that represents your favorite summer memory. It can be a photo, a drawing, a souvenir, or anything that you would like to share with the class! Please make sure it is something I can put on the wall using tape.

4 Marble Notebooks or wired (whatever is cheaper)
4 Folders
Now that you know what you'll need, YOU are now all RESPONSIBLE for being prepared!!!
As we grow older, we also take on more responsibilities. Responsibilities help us develop into motivated and caring individuals.
On the first day of school, please bring in a few independent reading books to be kept in your book boxes for Daily Five activities.
Together, we are going to have a lot of fun together! Enjoy the rest of your summer vacation, and we will see you in September!
