MR. FENTON'S PHYSICAL EDUCATION GRADING:

 

STUDENTS IN MR. BALD AND BEAUTIFUL'S PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASS ARE GRADED ON A DAILY AND WEEKLY POINT SYSTEM:

Daily Grade Based on the following rubric:

Attitude

Always positive, cheerful, energetic, helpful, enthusiastic, eager, ambitious and willing.

Sometimes positive, occasionally reluctant or negative, sometimes shows a lack of interest or caring.

Often negative, often shows a lack of interest/caring.

Support of Goals

Very self-motivated and goal-oriented. Giving, cooperative, and motivates others. Supportive of group goals.

Sometimes supportive or the group's goals. Student has a tendency to think of self first. Doesn't work to reach high standards.

Student holds the group back with misbehavior, disruption, selfishness, and lack of consideration. Belittles others for trying to reach their goals.

Safety Application

Behavior and actions promote a safe learning environment.

Misbehavior occasionally makes the learning environment unsafe.

Misbehavior frequently makes the learning environment unsafe.

Behavior/

No put-downs

The student listens to the teacher and peers, cooperates, and behaves appropriately. He/she never violates the no put-down rule.

The student occasionally needs to be reminded to listen, cooperate, and/or behave appropriately. He/she occasionally violates the no put-down rule.

The student frequently needs to be reminded to listen, cooperate, and/or behave appropriately. He/she often violates the no put-down rule.

Quality Daily Participation

Student always puts forth maximum effort regardless of his/her skill level.

Student participates half-heartedly. Only puts forth effort in select activities.

Student puts forth minimal effort.
