Class Rules

1. Respect is the most important rule in band.  There will be no talking during rehearsals.  To answer questions or to ask a question please raise your hand.

• I will keep a weekly behavior log.  Every week students earn 10 class participation points.  If you forget your instrument 5 points will be deducted.  For each behavioral infraction 1 point will be deducted.  If you get 3 warnings during a rehearsal a parent will be called and an after school detention will be assigned.  You may also be removed from the class and sent to the office.
• Being respectful to the school instruments and your instrument is expected.
• Bullying will not be tolerated and any incidents will be reported to the Vice Principal.
• ALWAYS HAVE A PENCIL (not a pen).  One point will be deducted if a student is not prepared with a pencil.
• Absolutely no gum while playing your instrument.  One point will be deducted from your class participation grade!
