Dear Families,

  

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year!  Are you as excited as I am?  It’s almost back to school time!  I have checked my class list and guess whose name is there?  Yours!  I am very excited to meet you and I'm looking forward to a great year together in Room 101 at Milltown School.

  

Our first day of school is on Tuesday, September 8th.  It is a FULL DAY!  Please bring in a healthy snack and a drink and remember to plan for lunch.  

  

Most of your supplies are here and waiting for you!  Please bring in the following items:

 

1. Headphones/Earbuds 

You can get them at Five Below, Walmart, Target etc.

  

2. A small item that represents a memory from your summer (this could be a picture, postcard, clothing, souvenir, etc.).  We will be sharing about what we did over the summer during our Morning Meetings.

  

3. A recent 4x6 picture of you and your family to hang up on our door in our classroom.  This will help to make our classroom feel like "home."

 

4. A pencil box 

One that is big enough to hold pencils, crayons, an eraser, glue stick, and scissors.  Those items will be provided for your child.  We have a few extra pencil boxes so don’t worry if you don’t have time to purchase one.

 

  

Summer is coming to a close and I'm looking forward to making many memories with you this year.  I hope you enjoy the last few days of summer and are as excited about starting a brand new school year as I am.  Please remember to wear your big, bright smile on the first day of school. 😊
