As close to the week of your child's birthday as possible, he/she will be our star student for the week. Star students will have the opportunity to share a special item(s) for 5-7 minutes with their classmates each day during our morning meeting. Typically students bring in photos, trophies, special collections, and other mementos to share with classmates. You are also welcome to sent me powerpoint presentations and video clips. It's best if the share for each day has a common theme.
Students will be notified of their assigned week along with all of the specifics.
If your child has a birthday that is celebrated during summer vacation or a holiday week, he/she will be assigned a star student week some time during the school year.
