Dear Parents/Guardians,
I am delighted to have your child in my class this year. The mission of Carroll Junior High School is to prepare all students for academic success and life-long learning. To accomplish this mission, I have prepared a multitude of lessons and activities to develop and deepen their understanding of mathematics. With your help, I am confident that we can achieve much success.
We believe that organization plays a key role in academic success. Therefore, in an effort to help students become more organized, we are asking that you provide 1 trapper keeper and 1 pack of 6 dividers. They will use this 1 trapper keeper for all 7 classes. Additionally, they will need a supply of loose leaf paper and pencils/pens throughout the school year.
I encourage classroom visits (including unannounced) when your child is in my class. If you need to meet with me to discuss your child’s progress in my class, I am available during the 6th period (12:56 – 1:49). Please do not hesitate to contact me at ext. 2056 if you have any questions. Please visit my school website throughout the year for important announcements, dates, and homework assignments.
I look forward to meeting with each of you, and let’s work together to have a GREAT school year!!
Sincerely,
Patricia Williams
