To My New Third Grade Students,

I can't believe it is already the middle of August and a new school year will begin soon. Hopefully, you are enjoying your summer as much as I am, but I am also excited to start a new year at Flocktown! Third Grade is so much fun. You will learn a lot, so come ready. Please read my school supply tab so that you know what you will need at school to help you be most successful starting right away on the first day. Don't forget to bring a healthy snack to eat for about 9:30 (keep in mind: we will be working while eating so think easy and quick) and feel free to bring a water bottle to help keep you hydrated everyday. 

In third grade we have Reading Time. I am asking you to bring in three books that interest you and that you are capable of reading on your own. These books will be kept in your book bin in the classroom. As soon as you have read them you can take them home, so if they are books from the public library that won't be a problem. 

I will be at school for the walk-through, Wednesday, August 28th between 2:20 and 3:20. Feel free to bring any school supplies with you that day so that you can leave them in your desk for Thursday. Looking forward to seeing you all!
