Tradition of Excellence
Instrumental lessons will begin on September 3rd. Our first band rehearsals will start on Wednesday, September 4th during Cycles. If you have any questions please email me at [email protected].

Quints
Band students are recommended to take 2 quints of instrumental practice. They take one in the fall and one in the spring. The 3rd quint is reserved for choir.
Instrumental Practice is always during the first 3 periods of the day.
Lessons-
Instrumental Music students are required to take small group lessons. Students will take lessons during their afternoon cycle class when they have gym. If a student doesn't have gym they do not come for lessons.
Lessons are on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The gym teachers are aware and students are excused.
Monday - percussion
Tuesday- flutes, clarinets, oboe
Thursday- trumpets, trombones, baritones, tuba, french horn
Friday- Saxophones
Band Rehearsals
The bands meet twice a week. One rehearsal is on Wednesdays during their cycle classes. The cycle teachers are aware and all band students are excused. All band students are required to attend the Wednesday rehearsals. The second rehearsal is before school at 7:45am. The 7th and 8th grade band meets on Tuesday mornings. The 6th grade band meets on Thursday mornings.
