Philosophy
The Washington Township Comprehensive Health Curriculum addresses not only the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards and the national measures within the discipline, but also and most important, our District's vision of a systematic, comprehensive and innovative approach to comprehensive health/physical education. All students will be able to make dynamic life choices that place emphasis upon nurturing the physical, mental/emotional and social well-being forces that make up the human condition. They will also be able to design and model a healthy life-style that emphasizes the importance of balance in all areas of their lives and the individual responsibility for maintaining their health.
