Welcome to 4th grade! I am so excited for a new school year! I am going to be your homeroom teacher this year and we will have math and science together. Mrs. Ligos will be your teacher for language arts and social studies. Fourth grade is an exciting year and we have many fun things planned. Below is a list of school supplies you will need for this year from both of us. We are looking forward to getting to know you and sharing our stories too. Enjoy the remainder of the summer!
The Open House on August 30th at 2:00pm followed by the PTO ice cream truck at 3:00pm. If you can't make it, I will see you on August 31st for the first day of school!

Is there a snack time?
There is a snack time in the morning, but it is a working snack. After the math lesson, you can have your snack anytime while you are working in your math journal. Just a reminder - snacks with peanuts or peanut products are not allowed in the classroom.
When is gym so I know when to wear my sneakers?

8:50-9:05 Unpack, attendance, lunch orders, Pledge of Allegiance, morning announcements, hand in homework, work on any unfinished work and then catch up with friends
9:05-11:05 Math & Science
11:05-11:55 Specials
12:05-12:35 Lunch
12:35-1:05 Recess
1:05-3:00 Switch classes across the hall to Mrs. Ligos for Language Arts and Social Studies
3:00-3:10 Switch back - pack up and get ready for dismissal
What should I bring on the first day of school?
1. All of your school supplies listed below - just label items with your name in advance (we will organize them together in school)
2. Lunch, snack, and water bottle
3. Something to share that reflects your personality, something you have accomplished, or somewhere you have been or would like to go
4. A smile and no worries - we work hard but we also have a lot of fun in 4th grade!
