My husband Scott and I just celebrated our 34 year anniversary in June. We have three terrific children-Trevor who is an historian and avid video game expert, Kevin, who lives and works in Jersey City, and Holly who is a new college graduate. We like to travel, watch TV together, play card games, do puzzles, and hang out with our dog, Daisy.
I come to the classroom with a diverse background of education and experience. My undergraduate degree from Rutgers University is in psychology. I also earned teaching certificates in kindergarten through 8th grade at that time. I went on to get my Masters in School Counseling, my certificate in student personnel services, and my certificate in Special Education.
I have worked as a third grade teacher, a first grade teacher, a basic skills instructor, and as a special needs teacher in both Resource Room and the LLD classrooms for grades 1-5. This is my eighteenth year at Old Farmers Road School. I enjoy working with elementary-aged children and am thrilled to be working with students in grades 3 and 4.
