Hi There!

 

My name is Ms. Melendez and I would like to welcome you to our class. I have been teaching for over 24 years, the last 22 of which have been in the Washington Township Schools.  I am delighted to be teaching ELA in the Resource Room for 4th and 5th grade.  I will aso be providing In-Class-Support in 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade. My family moved to Washington Township five years ago, so I do hope to see you around town!  

 

I have two children, Amari and Malia.  Amari is entering seventh grade and Malia is entering second grade here at Cucinella.  We spend a lot of time running around.  However, my favorite pass time activities are reading, art, walking, biking, and watching my children's softball games and dance performances.  I am also active in Girl Scouts.  I love to complete my own home renovation projects.  We have had a very busy summer and life continues to present plot twists!
