Hello Boys and Girls,

 

My name is Mrs. Molkenthin (Mrs. Molk for short) and I'm so excited to be your 2nd-grade teacher. In just a few short weeks our year together will begin...where we'll learn and GROW as a school family. There are so many great things to experience in second grade and I can't wait to share them all with YOU. Until we meet and I have a chance to get to know you, here's some fun facts about me...

 

*I was born in Quincy, Massachusetts. 

*I've been a teacher for 26 years and love every minute spent with my students.

*I moved to New Jersey in 2001 when I married my college sweetheart, Brian.

*We have 2 kids - Ella (22), who graduated this past May from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and is currently working on a film in NYC, and Gabriel (17), who will be a senior in high school and loves soccer and snowboarding!

*We live on a 247-year-old farm in Fredon.

*We have 3 mini-donkeys, 6 chickens, and 2 dogs!

*I love being outside, traveling, playing board games, and spending time with my family and friends.

*I'm learning that practice makes progress, how to install crown molding, and build furniture.

*When I grow up  I want to own a coffee shop or maybe even host a talk show.
