WELCOME TO FIRST GRADE!
I am delighted to have your child in my class this year! My name is Mrs. Fischer, and I have been teaching for thirty years, twenty-eight of those years in the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District. I have been working hard to prepare the classroom for all our learning adventures. I can’t wait to meet my new first graders next week!

Students may bring water bottles into school that are labeled and can be closed properly to prevent spills. We will have a snack each afternoon. Please send in a healthy, nut free snack that can be eaten quickly and cleaned up easily. Here are a few suggestions: fruit, drinkable yogurt, cheese sticks, crackers, pretzels, muffins. Please remember to provide any spoons, forks, straws, etc. needed for snack.

Your child will receive a Take Home Folder starting on the first day of school. It will contain any homework, completed class work, and/or important papers for your review. Please remember to check and empty your child’s folder every night as well as make sure it is returned to school each day.
