ABOVE ALL OTHER RULES & PROCEDURES, ASK FOR HELP!!
I AM HERE TO HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL !!

Grading Procedures

Homework will be assigned regularly. It is to be completed before the next class period. Work will need to be done in pencil. You will be expected to show your work. NO WORK = NO CREDIT!!
It will be necessary to keep up on your homework. Do not fall behind!!

Time given in class is to be used for your MATH homework.

All work is to be turned in on time--
LATE WORK Cannot recieve a 5 !!!!

Most assignments will be worth 5 points. The scale for the number of points depends on the total number of problems and the number of problems completed accurately. Homework is a learning experience and it will be graded accordingly.

Late work will only be accepted during the unit during which it was assigned. Once the test is taken over that unit, I will not accept any more late work from that unit.

There may be several small quizzes and then a test over each unit. Quizzes vary in point value,

usually between 20 to 60 points, and covers a smaller amount of material. A test is usually

60-80 points and covers the entire chapter/unit we have been working on.

If you have questions or need some extra help, please come see me to schedule a time.

Attendance- (See school attendance policy tab)

Good attendance will help make this a successful year!! Your presence during class makes

understanding most of the concepts discussed much easier. Be here!!!

If you are absent, you are responsible for the work missed. You will need to check the

assignments online on my website before you return. You will have one day, for each

day missed completing the work for full credit. After that time, it will be considered late.

If a test or quiz is missed, it will need to be made up during one of your free periods or after school, within a few days of the original test.

You MUST take a missed test or quiz with 5 days of the original exam. After that time, the test will be counted as a ZERO and cannot be made up.
