7th Grade AEP Math

Welcome back to a new school year!   I look forward to a great start.  This is a very important year and the AEP program is challenging and fast paced.  We need to work very hard from the beginning. 


 

In our Pre-Algebra class we will be using the Holt McDOUGAL Grade 8 Mathematics Textbook.  The textbook, along with many other resources will be accessible through an online account on my.hrw.com.  In addition, we will incorporate several interdisciplinary projects throughout the year. 

 

In accordance with school policy, each student is required to have school supplies available for use every day. The materials required in our class include a binder with paper for note taking, dividers, a folder to be kept inside the binder at all times, and sharpened pencils.  Also one flash drive is recommended to store projects and papers for all subjects.  Math work must be done in pencil.  On all assignments students must show their work, not just answers, for full credit. 

Every two weeks students must bring a grade sheet signed by a parent for a homework grade.
