I teach a self-contained behaviorial disabilities program for grades 9 through 12 within the realm of special education. The students are with me and my aide, Mr. Joseph Benne, from 7:57am to 12:27pm. This is a stringently structured program that helps the students solve some of their behaviorial issues that have hindered their progress previously with miminal outside disruptions emphasizing thier total focus on being sucessful academically first and foremost.

The students will receive instruction as dictated by local and state curriculum guidelines in Language Arts, History, Math, Science, Health and Physical Education, Practical Law, World Languages, Economics, World Issues, and Art Services.

Once it is determined that a student might benefit from this program, the student will be placed in a situation where they can concentrate on their academics and improving behaviors so that they can progress towards the idea of being placed back within the regular school population. This program has worked very well for many students over the years.
