BOOK LEVEL CHARACTERISTICS

This document is very helpful when finding a "just right" book for your child. 

Once you find a description that best fits your child's reading level and/or interest, go to www.scholastic.com/bookwizard.  This website allows you to search for books by author, title or keywood and provides information of each book on interest or grade level. You can copy the example of the books that were given on the Book Level Characteristic document and the website can find books that share the same characteristics. Choose Guided Reading for the drop down box under Reading Level System.
