Absences

 -You have one day for each absent day to make up missed work/assignments.

Missed tests & assignments, must be made up, and you must make the arrangements

(within the week of your return).

 

Missing class because of club activity/trip, group or individual lessons (chorus, music) makes it your responsibility to make up missing work.

 

Homework Books - Communication

At the start of the school year, each student of Somerdale Park School is issued a homework assignment book in which they can record their daily/weekly homework assignments.  You should record your assignments daily, and your parent should review daily assignments. This is an excellent communication system that can indicate any requests, information, and just general knowledge that your parent may want me to be aware of.  There is always the telephone and/or email system.
