Hello!

I am so happy to be able to teach art to the children of Somerdale!

 My goal is to engage and inspire the students and I hope

 that through these experiences they will develop a love for art.

Students in 6th grade will have art 3 times per week for one
marking period. We will for on 4- 5 projects using a wide
variety of materials. We will be inspired by artists of the past
and present, as well as various art movements throughout history. 
We will also explore many artistic styles and traditions from
different cultures around the world.

Students will see their work displayed throughout the school
and also in our annual art show.
