Is your child too sick for school?

Sending your child to school sick puts your child at risk for prolonged illness AND puts the people around him or her at greater risk for becoming ill.  Especially during the coming months as we face the ever-changing situation with COVID and continue to make the health and safety of our students our #1 priority we ask that you please adhere to the following guidelines.

Please note if your child is exhibiting ANY signs of illness (cough, temp 100.0 or higher, extreme fatigue, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, persistent headache, runny nose, vomiting, GI upset, new and persistent muscle aches) PLEASE KEEP THEM HOME UNTIL THEY CAN BE SEEN BY A HEALTHCARE PROVIDER AND CLEARED TO RETURN TO SCHOOL.  Student's must be SYMPTOM-FREE without use of medications such as Tylenol for a FULL 24 hours before returning to school.

Please call or email Mrs. Martin to report your child ill as well as calling them out absent through the main office. THANK YOU!!

  • Fever of 100.0 degrees or higher. Children should be fever free (less than 100.0 degrees) without using medication for 24 hours before returning to school.
