...and I hope you will too someday! Many more high paying jobs exist today for mathematicians.

I decided to go back to school for a new career in my forties! I was having so much fun helping my kids with their math homework, I said to myself, "I would love to be a math teacher!" My old career was as a draftsman...yes, the old fashioned art of drawing design and construction plans at a table with a T-square and triangle!

I went back to undergrad school at Camden County College and Rutgers University Camden and loved Rutgers so much, I kept going to grad school at Rutgers. I miss college now, but I can enjoy the excitement of college through my students who keep in touch (so make sure you visit me after you graduate).

When I'm not at school teaching, I spend time with my family: 1 husband, 1 daughter, 2 sons, and 2 dogs (2 psycho crazy Border Collies who make life at home very fun and interesting). My family is always very busy, mostly wrestling, driving to wrestling, or watching wrestling. My older son, Jackson is proud to be a Paulsboro wrestler and his little brother, Logan will be too. My daughter, Savannah will go to college in LA to study film and probably never come back to live in NJ. As my kids grow older, I hope to spend time together traveling to visit relatives, explore islands, or enjoy amusement parks.

During my time off in the summer, I try to manicure my jungle-like back yard and keep my pool clean. I am also trying to finish illustrating a few stories I wrote years ago which I would love to get published.

I would love to hear about your dreams and stories of success along the way.
