Middle Township High School Physical Education program provides a wide variety of experiences that will enable students to develop a positive attitude toward  physical fitness throughout their lifetime. Students will learn health enhancing skills that will be beneficial for the rest of their lives.  Through our individual and group activities we hope to promote personal fitness and lifelong wellness

Course Goals:

The overall mission is to help all students enjoy and learn about the importance of physical activity.
To have every student recognize the importance of staying active throughout his/her lifetime.
Every student will leave our program with the basic skill development and fitness level that is required to participate in a variety of healthy lifestyle, recreational, and/or competitive activities.
All students will gain an appreciation and understanding of the importance of making good lifestyle choices.
 
Physical educators will encourage students to:

Take an interest in their own health status 

Have an understanding of how physical activity is beneficial to overall health

Feel empowered to make and carry out health promoting decisions  

Set goals and make plans in order to achieve successful and satisfying lives.
