Welcome to a new school year!
We start this school year in UNIT I!
Unit I is designed to provide a framework for narrative writing that can be altered to suit various purposes and student populations. This unit will cover the personal narrative as in the college essay, cover letters, letters to/from characters from literature, scholarship essays, and written pieces that ask the writer to adopt multiple points of view.
The writing will be informed by student reading and analysis reflective of the genre in which they are writing, reading informational texts, and discussing questions and/or findings to inform academic writing.
