My name is Patricia Shaw. I am married and we have a six year old son who brings us so much joy :)

In March of 2018 I became a published author and illustrator of the book, "Hope: The Little Blue Butterfly." My son was my inspiration.

Throughout my earlier years I taught preschool, first grade, and second grade. This is my sixteenth year teaching at Upper Pittsgrove School. During my time at UPS, I have been the Special Education teacher for students ranging from preschool all the way up to eighth grade. I was also the kindergarten teacher for seven years. I'm excited to teach kindergarten again this year. I love seeing the excitement when the children learn how to read.
