Mrs. Breen and Mrs. Kurtz's Class- General Information
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to our third grade classroom! This year I will teach your child reading and writing, math, science, and social studies unless you have already been told otherwise. Communication is very important between the teacher, students, and parents. I would like to share some of our classroom routines and procedures that we follow.
Snack:
Each day, the class is given time to have a quick, healthy snack while continuing to work at their seats. All sancks must be NUT-FREE please. I ask that you send a snack with your child each day, even when he/she is buying lunch. I do not provide snacks for the students. Nutritional snacks are the best choice, such as a piece of fruit, crackers, or a cheese stick. Please no juice boxes for snack time, only water, to help keep our classroom neat and clean! Also, pack something simple for the children to eat, not too complicated to open or put together since this is a working snack! Please provide a spoon or fork with your child if it is needed for their snack.
Communication:
I feel that communication is one of them most important elements of a successful school year. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you might have about your child’s education and/or school day. I will not hesitate to do the same.
