You are very lucky this year because you have 2 first grade teachers, Miss Katie Gray and Mrs. Stacy DiMeo! HOORAY! 😊 We feel so very honored to be your teachers during this school year. We just know we are going to love you all (and you will love us, too!
About Me - Miss Gray
This will be my 6th year of teaching, but my 1st year at Flocktown-Kossmann school. I love it here and I am so excited to get-to-know everyone! All my teaching years have been in First Grade (because it's the best!) I am from a very small town in Pennsylvania but I have been living in Flemington, New Jersey for the past four years. I live with my significant other, Chris and our cat, Remi. In my free time, I love to spend time outdoors in the sunshine! I also love to use my cricut cutting machine to make projects like t-shirts and stickers! My favorite thing about 1st grade is how much you all love learning and growing your minds/independence throughout the school year! I cannot wait for us to have so much fun together this year!
About Me - Mrs. DiMeo
This will be my 23rd year teaching. I started out teaching first grade for 12 years and am now teaching special education as a co-teacher in first grade. I have 2 sons. They are both in middle school. My family has a cute puppy named Maple! Maple keeps us very busy! Some of my favorite things are reading, swimming, taking walks with our dog, and going to the movies with my boys! My favorite thing about first grade is how much you will learn and grow. I can’t wait to see all the growth you will make this year!
Meet the Teacher
We are so looking forward to meeting you in person at "Meet the Teacher". You can drop by August 30th at 1pm to see the classroom and your teachers! Plan to be here for around 10 minutes or so.
When you come, please bring with you all your new school supplies so we can get things organized and ready for the first day of school. Don’t forget to label your child’s belongings (first and last!). Since supplies are shared, you will not need to label those.
Please let us know if you will not be able to attend so we can arrange to send you the items that will be passed out on that day.
