About me: As -Salamo alykom, my name is Yara Ibrahim. I live in Greenville, SC. I grew up in Cairo, Egypt, where I went to the Business school at Ain Shams University  and received  my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting .

Alhamdullah I was blessed to be raised in an Islamic school that allowed me to study Quran and Islamic Studies from Kindergarten up to High school.  Also being in such a wonderful Islamic environment made me realize how important the Islamic atmosphere is for kids.

In 2005 I was a Quran and Islamic Studies teacher at Dar Al Hijra Institute and a Quran teacher at Hafsa Masjid in Egypt. When I came to the United States I became the Principal of the weekend school at the Islamic Society of Clemson for four years, and I was teaching Quran and Tajweed as well at this time.

I’ve always had this dream to see the Muslim Ummah rise again like it was in its golden ages, and to see Muslims leading the world one more time in all fields of life.  But at the same time I dream to see Muslims having their religion as their priority and the book of Allah as their guide.

I strongly believe that by teaching our beloved kids at As-Sabeel Academy and by offering them a strong religious and academic foundation, we all will be able to see a great Muslim generation blessed with the best of this life and the hereafter as well in shaa Allah.

The success of As-Sabeel kids is on my top priorities so please feel free to email me at [email protected] if you have any questions or concerns.
