Welcome Back!!






This year the district is giving formative assessments to help teachers and administrators determine student progress on certain standards. These assessments will not be for a weighted grade, but they will be used for district and class placement purposes. Please contact Mrs. O'Bannon if you have any questions.


Students homework every night is to read AR for 30 minutes and finish any classwork that is not done.


Students have access to thier textbook online. 

How to get to online COLLECTIONS textbook:
1. Log into Launchpad
2. Go to Instructional Apps
3. Find the white hrw Houghton Mills app and click it.
4. Then click the second to last yellow box that says "Student E-book"
5. At the top middle of the page type in the page you need to go to. and then enter.

Read and comprehend complex literary and information texts independently and gain adequate proficiency in a range of language use from vocabulary and syntax to the development and organization of ideas addressing the increasingly demanding content and sources needed in writing.


Reading Standards for Literary Text:

                                     Cite textual evidence.

                                   Analyze how elements of a story interact.

Speaking and Listening Standards:

                               Analyze main ideas and details presented in diverse media.

                               Present claims and findings concisely, in both speaking and writing.

PLEASE NOTE:  Although the school provides the materials and supplies for basic instructional activities, the optional supply items on this list will allow your child to have an enhanced educational program.  We appreciate your commitment to the education of your child and, with your donation; we can provide a great program for the students at Three Oaks Middle School.
