For the 16-17 school year, I am very excited to be at NFMAA teaching middle school language arts and journalism.

A little about me, I am a native of Miami, FL and have lived in Cape Coral for the last 13 years. I attended Florida Gulf Coast University where I majored in English, minored in Creative Writing, and continued graduate studies in the College of Education where I will complete my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction in the fall of 2015. I am a father of 2 elementary aged children and I love everything Language Arts! In the past I have worked professionally as a journalist as well as a writer of short fiction and poetry. In the spring of 2012 I won the Sigma Tau Delta English Honors Society Creative Writing Award at FGCU. I have been an editor, a staff writer, and a freelance writer for various publications including newspapers, literary magazines, and academic literary journals. I am also an award winning poet! I look forward to a wonderfully productive and exciting year at Harns Marsh Middle. It is my hope that we all learn as much as we can this year and have some fun along the way.

I teach 7th grade Language Arts and Journalism. My room number is 156. If you need to get ahold of me after hours please use my direct email address:
